Sensations 5.5, Collar 8.5 and Cuffs 6.5 are now in the vendors and updaters. This release is packed full of new features. The biggest is Display Names support. The core scripts have been updated to support Display Names, there may be some plugins and other places where it was missed, but please let us know if you notice any places where legacy names are still being used and shouldn't.

The Sensations Genitals 2.0 have been rewritten using our own new Prim Animator which significantly reduces lag. The Sensations Starter Kits have been updated, they now include the original sculpted versions of the genitals. Lag reducing changes have been made to the Collar, Cuffs and various other items. The genitals control menus are now accessible to the owner when one is set on them via the Owner button or by owner sharing from the Collar.

The Sensations Breasts' clothing system has been rebuilt and updated to support several different applicators from other vendors in addition to supporting the Sensations specific plugin clothing system.

The default attachment points on a number of items have changed. When the system was conceived the goal was to have a single item on an attachment point. If two things needed to be on the same point we would create hybrid items that performed both tasks. However with the advent of multiple attachments this design choice is rather obsolete. So a number of items have had their default attachment point changed to ones that are more suitable. Please use the viewer feature to attach both to the same point as necessary.

The Collar's old “remote control” system has been renamed “movement control” (to avoid confusion with the HUD/web remote control) and updated to use the existing Sensations communication system. It also adds support for RLV rotation if RLV is enabled. The cage system has also been updated with the functionality moving into the leash holders. This means that if you use these features you should update your leash holders by using the .giveleash command or the Get Leash button on the Leash... menu.

The RLV plugin has been updated to support multiple attachments, added some missing clothing layers and has been rewritten using checkboxes on the menus.

Finally a number of bugs have been fixed since the last release, notable ones in the Collar and Pussy v2.

This release was scheduled for earlier but it was delayed because of Display Names issues. The JIRA SVC-6290 is still listed as “Fix Pending” and I have not been able to reach any Lindens regarding the issue. However our testing has shown it seems to be fixed.

[Update February 11, 2011]  Weapon and Promenade have been updated to 5.5 as well.  They add display names support and fix some issues.  Also the leash holders in the collars have been updated to fix a caging bug.  If you have a collar that was purchased or updated since the initial release IM Amethyst Rosencrans for updated leash holders.

I have the leather and steel cuffs and can not change the color of the leather, only the metal.  I have a version 8.6 collar and the cuffs are new.
